According to Rockstar's Newswire announcement, the Extended Look premieres on Netflix on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at 3pm ET — that's 12pm PT, 1pm MT, and 2pm CT. For once, no time zone math headaches: it's an afternoon slot coast to coast.

Netflix has the video exclusively at first: only at 9pm ET / 6pm PT — six hours after the premiere, still the same Thursday evening — does it also appear on the official Rockstar Games YouTube channel and the GTA VI website. No Netflix subscription? You only have to wait until prime time.

Independent of the Extended Look, the core GTA 6 facts stand: release on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, digital preload from November 12, 2026, and pre-orders open since June 25, 2026 at $79.99 (Standard) and $99.99 (Ultimate).
